Published June 24, 2025
This Earth Day, Kinecta hosted Shred Fest drive-through events at four branches in Southern California. Members were invited to bring up to 10 boxes of sensitive and unwanted documents to shred at no cost.
These events help support the environment and protect personal information with a safe and convenient way to dispose of sensitive documents, such as:
Approximately 15,200 lbs (7.6 tons) of paper was shredded for our members and community at these events this year.
Additionally, members who brought items to shred were able to make a $1 donation for every box of shredded documents. The branches collected a combined total of $1,841 to benefit local nonprofits.
