Upgrades to Online Banking Security

Cybercrime is escalating and becoming more sophisticated. Kinecta continually monitors our security systems and looks for better ways to protect your accounts.

On October 7th, 2020, Kinecta launched our new online banking identity verification process. This is a dual-authentication process where members receive a phone call or text with a custom code to verify your identity. While this will replace the security image we have used in the past, User Names and Passwords will remain the same.

Authentication will occur during your initial logon from any device: desktop, tablet, or smart phone.

If you do not have a valid telephone or mobile phone number in your Kinecta Direct Online Banking profile, access to online banking will be delayed until verification is complete. You will be directed to a branch or our Member Contact Center at 800.854.9846 for authentication.

For your convenience, view this short video prior to authenticating. It will walk you through the new process.

The first time you log on, you will also see our updated brand colors, larger fonts, and simplified layout. We hope you like them.
