Kinecta offers a number of free financial education programs designed for members of all ages. In addition to short videos explaining finance basics, a personalized learning platform featuring interactive courses, goal setting tools, budgeting calculators and more is available on demand.
MyCash Platform
A dynamic, interactive platform accessible through online and mobile banking, MyCash1 enables kids and teens to manage funds within their spend account while building real world money skills under the guidance of a trusted adult.
1No monthly service fee and no minimum balance requirements apply. A minor who is at least eight (8) years old and under eighteen (18) years old may establish only a MyCash Spend account. The minor is not eligible to establish any other checking account until attaining eighteen (18) years of age. The minor’s parent or legal guardian must be a joint owner on the account. MyCash Spend accounts are eligible for debit card issuance, and checks are available upon request. MyCash Spend accounts are not eligible for Overdraft Protection, Courtesy Pay, or Select Accept coverage. When the minor account owner attains eighteen (18) years of age, the MyCash Spend account will be converted to a Classic Checking account.
